See the full panorama of the mountains and keep all the other skiers and snowboarders in sight on the piste – the visor on the Jump 2.0 QVMM guarantees this in all weather. Besides offering protection from air streams and enough space to wear optical correction as well, it’s also contrast-enhancing and self-tinting thanks to the high-quality QuattroVarioflex technology. This means that the visor automatically adapts to the current weather.
The photochromatic lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to radiation, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. When the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the lens becomes brighter again. This process takes seconds. The visor also provides 100% protection from UV-A, UV-B and UV-C rays. Unique design, high-quality features and processing, reliable fit: The Jump 2.0 is one of Alpina’s premium visor helmets. Its structure is made of EPS, which allows ventilation to be clearly felt. Air is actively directed to the inside, guided along the head there and transported back out through openings in the rear. This prevents heat from building up and guarantees an optimum climate. The Run System, which allows the helmet to be adjusted to the head’s individual shape, is combined with a neck warmer. This keeps the neck comfortably warm even on cold, windy days of skiing and also makes it more comfortable to wear. No feature is left out of the Jump 2.0 QVMM – so winter athletes can fully enjoy their day on the piste.
Hard shell helmets have an impact-resistant ABS or polycarbonate outer shell on top of the EPS inner shell. This combination makes the helmets extremely tough and ensures perfect insulation against the cold.
The inner shell of every Alpina helmet consists of HI-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). These microscopic air pockets absorb the forces that act in an impact and provide the protective damping. HI-EPS allows extra-thin wall thicknesses and slim helmet shapes to be achieved. As HI-EPS absorbs neither water nor perspiration the protective effect is retained for a long time.
The classic for optimal fit: Thanks to the control knob at the back of the head the helmet can be adjusted to the head in a flash and will reliably remain where it belongs.
Proven a hundred-thousand-fold and used in all Alpina ski helmets: Our famous strap buckle with a red push button and multi-step automatic locking mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated when wearing ski gloves – the strap can be loosened while using the ski lift and tightened again before the downhill run – and is prevented from opening on its own in a crash.
Further airstream regulation features the Airstream Control Ventilation openings of the helmet can be opened and closed by a sliding mechanism. Perfect climate around your head is guaranteed.
The Removable Earpads can be detached in fractions of a second and stowed in the pockets of a ski jacket. When enjoying the snow on a warm and sunny Easter weekend, this feature will allow you to experience an even higher degree of freedom during your ride. And when temperatures drop again, just click the earpads back on.
The Alpina Neckwarmer is pulled down low at the back of the helmet and consists of a comfortable, soft micro-fleece material. This “heat collar” also prevents the neck from being hit by air draft at high speed and Siberian temperatures. Thanks to its clever construction there are no pressure points.
Helmets with an Integrated visor. The generous amount of space behint the visor makes these helmets perfect for people who wear glasses.
