At home anywhere your own two feet can take you, the Stout 65 hits the mark for capacity and profile—just big enough for a week’s worth of lightweight camping gear, but not so big that it creates issues when you’re hopping on a train to the hostel in the next town. Updated TrailFlex suspension lets you customise the ventilated backpanel for a perfect fit, and a new front mesh pocket stows a jacket or a street map for unexpected itinerary changes.
TrailFlex Carrying System
Inspired by the sophisticated A3 and A3W carrying system technology that adapts during use and is used in the high-quality Baltoro and Deva lines, Gregory has developed TrailFlex - a lightweight, strong and stable internal wire frame that provides the Amber line with a high level of comfort without unnecessary weight. The TrailFlex carrying system and the adjustable TrailFit hip belt components of the Amber line are based on the same technology, but are specially shaped and padded for women. TrailFlex channels the load of the backpack directly into the lumbar region, while the adjustable, pre-shaped TrailFit hip belt makes it easy to find and maintain the ideal fit.
Measuring the Back Length
Measure with a tape measure along the spine from the 7th cervical vertebrae (the spinous process is easy to feel from the outside at the lower end of the neck furrow) to the iliac crest (at the level of the upper bony hip structure). Measure two or three times to get an accurate result. If you are between two frame sizes, the smaller size is right for you.
XS = 36 cm - 41 cm
