Equipped with a cosy GORE-TEX Partelana lining with wool content, a grippy winter sole, high-quality suede on the shaft and a midsole made of LOWA DynaPU, the shoe ensures a perfect appearance in any winter landscape.

GORE-TEX Partelana
A GORE-TEX membrane with additional warm lining (80% polyester / 20% wool) keeps feet warm and dry in cold winter conditions.

LOWA Rubber Outsole
The LOWA Rubber Outsole is a rubber outsole designed by LOWA with an application-specific tread design made from an optimised rubber compound. The advantage of a rubber outsole is the good grip.

Double injection
For effective cushioning and a high level of wearer comfort, the sole of the shoe is connected to the upper using a technically complex injection process. For this purpose, the upper shoe is placed in a specially made mold. A PU foam is then inserted into these in different layers. This gives rise to the sole, which joins directly with the upper to form a single unit.

DynaPU
The midsole is largely responsible for the rolling behavior and cushioning of a shoe. This consists here of a specially developed plastic: LOWA DynaPU: The special feature: Even if it is compressed a thousand times, it still retains its restoring force. Thus, the shoes made of it have very good cushioning properties even after many kilometers.

Support Frame
The midsole in the form of the LOWA Monowrap frame provides the best comfort. This is a three-dimensional midsole design developed by LOWA in 1995. This frame comfortably grips the foot for support on uneven surfaces. Shoes with a support frame have a slightly raised sole construction.

Moderately stiff
Shoes labelled “moderately stiff” have a good symbiosis between moderate flexural stiffness and a comfortable rolling motion.
