This closer-fitting, hybrid insulation jacket is a favourite with the salewa athlete team. It has tough Durastretch panels at the sleeves and sides that are tried and tested during alpine use, yet feels just so soft and comfortable on.

The thermoregulating Ortles Hybrid Jacket is designed to meet the specific insulation needs that children have at different areas of the body during high-octane activities in colder conditions.

The lightweight TirolWool Responsive insulation combines innovative polyester fibres enhanced with thermoreactive minerals and wool sourced from Tyrolean sheep. Heat emitted by the body is absorbed and converted into infrared radiation, which is stored and reflected back – keeping the wearer warmer for longer. In addition, TirolWool Responsive is water resistant, breathable and will still keep kids warm even when their jacket is soaking wet.

With two zipped hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket. There’s an insulated hood for extra protection, and this jacket has a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish for extra weatherproofing.
