SALEWA's award-winning Sesvenna 2 Durastretch trousers are designed for ski mountaineering and ski touring. In rocky alpine terrain and anything but ideal conditions, you need solid trousers that offer good weather protection. Salewa manufactures these alpine trousers from Durastretch, the self-developed functional fabric made of nylon fibres (polyamide). It’s very light and extremely abrasion resistant. Thanks to their high elastane content with 4-way stretch, these trousers convince with excellent freedom of movement. To give you more warmth and comfort, the seat and back of the knees are lined with Polarlite fleece weighing 275. The crotch gusset and pre-shaped knees provide maximum flexibility at high steps. These trousers have a narrow fit with straight leg and a grippy silicone trim on the waistband, through which the hem fits tightly. To offer more protection against ski edges and crampons, we have reinforced the edge protection with abrasion-resistant Cordura.

Durastretch
Durastretch fabrics have become classics for mountaineering and climbing trousers. Their distinguishing features are that they’re light and comfortable, robust and resistant. This ensures the polymer yarn in different strength and structure. These fabrics are resistant to abrasion and tearing. Most Durastretch fabrics are suitable for year-round use because their soft inner side quickly wicks perspiration and moisture away. Durastretch Powerlite is the lightest version of the double fabric to date (140g/qm).

Polarlite
With Polarlite, SALEWA has further developed fleece technology. The particularly fine and light fibres are extremely pleasant to wear and soft on the skin. Freedom of movement is guaranteed thanks to stretch and body mapping. Polarlite is also characterised by high thermal performance, robustness and durability.
