Sailing for all Triton advanced kayaks: With boom system - Triton advanced Sailing: 12 For the kayaks of Triton advanced there are two different possibilities of sailing. One with and one without boom system. The larger the sail area, the more essential is an outrigger construction that keeps you stable on water in any situation. The systems with outrigger include a mainsail with a sail area of 2.5 sqm as standard, which you can easily operate from the cockpit. Optionally, the standard version is also available with a headsail. This adds 2 sqm sail area. The standard version can also be extended with a foresail at any time later. The outrigger sails then still differ between single and multi seaters. On the Ladoga 1 advanced the inflatable side outriggers are slightly smaller and a crossbar which is attached directly to the boat is sufficient 1 . The packing bag for it measures 160 cm x 20 cm x 18 cm and the weight is about 7 kg. The sail with boom system for the multi-seater has two crossbars and its own bracket, which is attached to the boat. The inflatable outriggers are then attached to the two crossbars 2 3 . This system is packed in two bags (125 cm x 18 cm x 18 cm and 70 cm x 40 cm x 15 cm), which together weigh about 12 kg. The boom system itself is also available separately. This can be interesting, for example, when fishing from a boat or simply when you need an almost unbreakable stability on the water.
