The Triton Vuoksa 2 advanced is an excellent hiking kayak that impresses with its excellent price-performance ratio, enormous stiffness and plenty of space. The main areas of use for the Triton advanced series of travelling kayaks are rivers and lakes. The Triton Vuoksa 2 advanced is just the thing when you want to go on longer tours. A further advantage is that there's also the possibility to paddle the boat solo, which is especially ideal if you want to paddle alone or in pairs.
The Triton Vuoksa 2 consists of 4 ribs, a double keel and two air hoses integrated at the side. The flat shape of the fuselage ensures enormous tilt stability and easy manoeuvrability. The V-shaped bow and stern areas ensure easy guidance on the water. Keel strips are installed as standard and protect against abrasion. The steering system makes paddling easier both on narrow rivers and on open waters with a lot of side winds. The boat also has a wave deflector at the bow.
The boat skin is not made of pure PVC, but of a PVC/PU mixture. This material comes from Scandinavia and has the advantage over pure PVC that it remains flexible even at cold temperatures and is also more abrasion-resistant. The boat skin is not sewn, but "cold welded" and is provided with reinforcement strips (underwater hull, ridge seam and lateral). The boat hides are absolutely waterproof due to this technology.
