The popular Beta XL is a 3-pole tunnel tent that offers generous sleeping space combined with a large, functional porch area for storing your camping essentials. This feature-packed tent includes Vango's patented TBSII (Tension Band System) to provide additional stability in poor conditions, and all-in-one pitching ensures that the sleeping pod always stays dry if it is raining. The Beta XL is ideal for slightly longer trips and will also appeal to campers seeking a more spacious and comfortable weekend tent.
The tent is completely built together with outer tent and inner tent. With this installation method, the inner tent / sleeping cabin is already attached to the outer tent and you save time during construction.
The Vango PVC window film provides a clear view to the outside and lets much light into the inside of the tent. The window film will be wrinkle free as soon as it gets some heat.
EN5912 is the product standard for the safety of camping tents. It includes, among other things, a test procedure for fabric with flame retardant and a rain test to check the tightness of the tent.
Packing bag with compression straps and large upper opening for easy and quick stowage. Due to the upper opening, the tent does not have to be rolled up exactly to the diameter of the pack sack and can then be compressed with the straps.
PowerFlex fiberglass is used for many tent constructions because it is very flexible but still stable. Fiberglass rods are drilled from top to bottom, cut into segments of equal length and equipped with a metal sleeve on one side. The individual segments are connected to a rubber band, this facilitates the construction. In order to place the different lengths of poles in the right place, the poles are marked in color.
Whether you are a seasoned campsite camper or like to dabble in a spot of wild camping; ProTex Shield will protect you from the elements with fully taped seams and a highly waterproof fabric to keep you dry whatever the weather throws at it.
Vango's Tension Band system is internal storm tensions. They form a power triangle and make the tent more stable (30 % more stable than conventional tents) against strong lateral or alternating winds. The clip system allows the cords to be removed if necessary and stowed in the pockets provided.
