Thanks to the natural geraniol finish, the pants have mosquito repellent properties and protect your skin from sunburn with a UV protection of 50+ (UPF). The articulated knees and the stretch inserts at the waistband provide more freedom of movement. A practical pocket arrangement keeps all your necessities safe. Truly comfortable, zip-off pants that pack down small, they’re ideal for trekking tours and hikes in warm and humid regions or for the Nordic mosquito areas in early summer. 

UPF 50+
Excellent UV protection so that you can enjoy the sun and mountain sports well protected. A UPF rating of 50+ means that a given piece of fabric allows less than 2% (<1/50) of the UV rays that hit it to penetrate through. This is the same as 98% UV protection. The UV protection is created by the choice of fibres, weave, material thickness or by inserting a titanium dioxide protective screen into the fabric. Titanium dioxide is completely environmentally friendly and has been rated by the EU as harmless.

Green Shape
Green Shape is the VAUDE seal of approval for products that are manufactured in a particularly environmentally friendly manner. This includes the complete production cycle from development and production to maintenance and usability after use. The criteria for this are strict. The products must consist either of at least 90 percent organically grown cotton, recycled materials or the Tencel wood fibre. Furthermore, they must have been dyed with the environmentally friendly dyeing process VAUDE eColour or meet the world's strictest environmental textile standard Bluesign.
