bear responsibility. These 3-layer hybrid trousers are consistently designed for sustainability in the choice of materials, production and service life. They protect you from wetness and wind during various outdoor activities. The casual cut is layer-optimised, i.e. the trousers are cut so long that the clothing worn underneath is overlaid on the waistband and hem. Stretch pleats above the knee made of elastic Econyl recycled polyamide ensure good freedom of movement. The abrasion-resistant and robust main material in the front and on the upper leg-back is made of EcoPaxx. This is a synthetic fibre made from 70% castor oil, a renewable resource. EcoPaxx can also be processed into injection moulded plastic parts. We have used it to make all our zippers and the belt buckle of our trousers. Our waterproof and windproof Ceplex Green membrane is also particularly environmentally friendly. It is completely PFC-free and we use up to 25% recycled or bio-based materials in the manufacture of the membrane. The backing to protect the membrane is applied in the form of a laminate of S-Cafe material. The innovative material, which is made from recycled coffee grounds, ensures a dry feel. On the lower back of the leg we use Durable Organic Cotton. This is a tightly woven, particularly robust and highly breathable cotton fabric made from GOTS-certified organic cotton. If the fabric gets wet, it swells slightly and forms a natural barrier to rain. As a water-repellent finish on the outside of the trousers, we use Eco Finish, a PFC-free impregnation. Further features of the comfortable weather protection pants include an integrated belt, width adjustment at the leg ends and two side zipper pockets.
