Awakens your wanderlust! Rugged Bermudas made with a lightweight, stretchy fabric. Ideal for milder regions and sunny days in the camp. This product is made with eco-friendly, water repellent Eco Finish and is manufactured without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials.
Eco Finish VAUDE products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly and water-repellent without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFC belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in many outdoor products to impregnate the outer fabric. They have been criticised for not being degradable, accumulating in the body and being suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has a clear commitment not to use PFC at all.
Recycled Materials VAUDE uses recycled materials (e.g. from PET-bottles) in the manufacture of this product. This saves up to 50% in energy and CO2 emissions as well as fossil raw materials.
Stretch The high elasticity of the material is achieved by an elastane content in the material or by the way the material is knitted or woven. The stretchability of the material increases the wearing comfort and performance of the garment, as it offers great freedom of movement.
Green Shape Green Shape is the VAUDE seal of approval for products that are manufactured in a particularly environmentally friendly manner. This includes the complete production cycle from development and production to maintenance and usability after use. The criteria for this are strict. The products must consist either of at least 90 percent organically grown cotton, recycled materials or the Tencel wood fibre. Furthermore, they must have been dyed with the environmentally friendly dyeing process VAUDE eColour or meet the world's strictest environmental textile standard Bluesign. VAUDE's goal is the best for man and nature.
Fair Wear Foundation VAUDE is committed to good working conditions and fair wages for all and is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). In this way, Vaude undertakes to continuously improve working conditions in all production facilities. These are regularly checked. VAUDE has achieved the highest status as an FWF member with the Leader Status.
